| | There's far too much to talk about for Sabbath. I would have to be enraptured by the Word of God to fully convey everything concerning this day. Don't fret—I plan to get to that stage of life.
What I can tell you now is this simple statement: in seeking insight, I continually come about to Jesus. No matter what element of life I begin to analyze, further study draws me to the character of Christ.
He's the "ultimate package". Let's assume that seeking God chiefly involves witnessing (aka telling people about your life, emphasizing interactions with God and people), justice, and prayer. Jesus fills this bill to the top:
- He witnessed to the crowds; that is, he told them what He sees God and His kingdom to be.
- He comes for the sick, not the healthy.
- His ministry, following the Sabbath that he begins it on, STARTS with prayer.
Excuse me, I must go read more about "this Jesus guy".
